Diamond Cross Ranch Wedding

We had been eagerly anticipating this day from the moment Gather Events Company, our favorite wedding design and planning team in Wyoming (or anywhere really), first reached out to us about our availability for this wedding. Although we shoot multiple events a year in Jackson Hole, this would be our first wedding at the famed Diamond Cross Ranch. Diamond Cross is one of few remaining historic ranches in Teton County, and it’s considered ‘Jackson Hole’s most iconic,’ for good reason too—the view is jaw dropping. Sprawling acres lead the eye to an unobstructed view of Mount Moran, one of many mountains in the Teton range, while a herd of majestic horses graze in the foreground.

Four Seasons Scottsdale Destination Wedding

Danielle and Evan contacted us in 2019 about this incredible dream they had for their wedding in September 2020. However, like so many other couples they were forced to postpone this dream due to the pandemic. The next year came around, and USA/Canadian border restrictions were still in place. Not wanting to compromise any aspect of their dream wedding, they didn’t want to risk it, and decided to postpone a second year. To them, the wait was worth it. In fact, the theme of their day became “can’t rush a good thing.” And their wedding in Fall 2022 was the best thing.

Snake River Overlook Elopement in Grand Teton NP

When it came time to plan a wedding at home, they were overwhelmed with the cost, details, and decisions it entailed. Since they were already going to Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks for vacation, they decided to elope instead in the Tetons. Abigail had been before, and told Alex that it was her favorite place in the world. She envisioned saying vows with the view of the mountains towering over them. And it was everything they imagined it would be. She shared that the peace and connection they felt on their wedding day could not be topped— “We are so glad that we chose to profess our vows to each other and our children in the most beautiful place in the world.”

Point Reyes National Seashore Elopement

When Ashley initially reached out about eloping, she was open to location suggestions. Her only request was “A national park that’s not too cold in April.” Since we already had a trip to Northern California planned for the beginning of April, we suggested Point Reyes National Seashore. We love Point Reyes for its remoteness, its “off the beaten path” essence gives it stillness, which also means it’s less touristy than other locations closer to San Francisco, so it’s the perfect setting for private and personal vows. And in the springtime, wild flowers, like yellow lupines, freckle its grassy dunes and cliff sides.

Schwabacher Landing Elopement In GTNP

Kim & Brandon knew they wanted a small intimate wedding since neither of them like to be the center of attention. And it just so happened that they had already booked a vacation to the Tetons prior to their engagement; it just made sense to use that trip for their nuptials! So they planned a destination, elopement-style wedding, inviting only a few of their closest people. Kim told us that "the epic views of the jagged mountains reminisce of Patagonia now seem like the perfect spot to start our forever adventure."

'The Wedding Tree' Jackson Hole Wyoming Elopement

Bri & Matt planned a destination elopement to Jackson Hole because of how special of a place it is to them. They visit several times a year, both for winter skiing and for summer hiking, so it just made sense to them to say their vows in this breathtaking place. They picked an early summer date so that the meadows would still be filled with wildflowers and their favorite range would still be outlined in snow.

Engagement Pictures at Old Man's Cave

For the second part of our session together, we ventured down the trail from Old Man’s Cave to Lower Falls and back. Melting ice sickles still lined the outcroppings so we had to proceed with caution, but as a result of these conditions, the water was a beautiful, milky blue. In the summer, like most Ohio waterways, the creek in this canyon turns murky and muddy, so seeing it this pristine was a treat.
