About Eastlyn and Joshua
We strive to document your wedding story with a unique eye and an unwavering commitment to capturing the true essence of your relationship. We don't believe in forcing awkward poses or artificial expressions; instead, we work with you to capture genuine and relaxed moments that reflect the connection between you and your partner. We believe photography is a powerful gift with the ability to leave a lasting legacy. When you look back at your photos we want you to not only see them, but feel the emotions behind them. We are here to serve you, not to please the audience; so trust us to be your photographers, not just for the wedding or elopement day itself, but for all the future memories looking back on your photos will create.
We Love to Travel but We love Our Home in Ohio too
We love living in the Midwest because it keeps us close to our families. Evenings at home include long walks around town or at our favorite local metro parks, working in our garden, or antiquing to feed our fascination of legacy. And when we’re not at home or traveling for our couples, we’re most likely on the trail. Hiking together is our favorite activity, especially when it’s rewarded by a lofty view or an ice cold lake swim.
From the start of this journey, we have firmly believed that if we’re going to advertise ourselves as travel photographers, then it’s vital to be experienced in travel, while also having experience in photographing landscapes with a human connection. We don’t take that lightly—so far we’ve spent time in 33 different U.S. national parks, and have been to 22 different countries, photographing stories throughout.
People often ask us our favorite place we’ve traveled. Outside of home, our favorite place in the US is Jackson Hole, Wy, which feels like a second home because of how connected to it we feel when we’re there. Other than Grand Teton, our favorite national parks are Point Reyes, Olympic, and Yosemite. And our favorite international destinations are the remote, rugged, breathtaking beyond words, Faroe Islands and Torres del Paine, Patagonia, Chile.
