From the mountain's summit, we watched the sun slowly set behind the far off hills that rose through a thin layer of hovering fog. In the final moments of last light, the twilight's purples and pinks painted the atmosphere, and as I tried to capture it with my camera, it captured my heart.
I love how photography is constantly introducing me to new friends, like Jenna--she was more than incredible to work with, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect model for a bride.
This stylized collection was shot at the Phoenix South Mountain Park, which is the largest metro park in the United States. We began near the base of the mountain at Scorpion Gulch, where you'll see the old stone structures in the photos below, and then slowly made our way to the top for Twilight. I'm still in awe of this beautiful location; and I highly recommend it to those Phoenix couples wanting to find a little bit of seclusion in the midst of the bustling city.
