Jesse & Hannah on their humid, sizzling perfect, sunshiny wedding day. A day full of belly laughs and blissful tears and a day exploding in sky-scrapping, earth shattering, to-the-moon-and-back, wonderful love (times a zillion million, I might add).
But, of all, and in all the things in the world, my happiest moments, the moments I long for, pray for and dream for as a wedding photographer, is the feeling of a wedding focused and surrounded by the lifelong promise of the marriage.
If the cake fell on the floor, if the dress was stained, if the guests didn't show up...It's wouldn't have mattered for Jesse and Hannah. They wanted to be married above all else. Nothing mattered more. With eyes on each other, heart-to-heart, they were focused on the covenant, the future and Him. They weren't blind to the hard-times to eventually come, instead embraced them. Their trust was and is in the Author of their love. They're ready for the adventure, in fact, they're running face-first and eyes-open toward it.
Jesse and Hannah, thank you for allowing Joshua and me to help capture the first day of your thousands of best days ever. ♥
