Joshua and Eastlyn,
A husband and wife photography team, documenting love, unconventionally.
OUR PHOTOGRAPHY PHILOSOPHY
Almost all wedding days tend to cause us to refocus, and remind us that it’s not about “me,” or impressing the audience. Others matter more anything, and that when someone’s life is changing on their wedding day, we need to be present to the moments in front of us.
With that said, our work is extremely relational. Working with wedding couples as a couple, two-on-two, is the best thing we've ever done for this business. As you're about to get married, let us, a husband and wife, share your joy with you by documenting your story in a way that we believe will be dynamic, unconventional and leave a lasting legacy for your future family.
Our style is unconventional because we're not your parent's photographers. We're not the audience's photographer. We're your photographers. We're not here to please anyone expect you. We don't like staging awkward shots or forcing cheesy expressions. We're not going to drag around huge studio lights for portraits. Sure, we will take your official family photos after the ceremony, we'll get "the shot," but we're not going drag it out with a zillion poses.
Our heartfelt desire is to photograph people and moments as they are. We'll certainly give direction, but we want to capture you naturally and relaxed. We believe when you look at a photograph, you should be able not only to see it but feel its emotions. We want to capture you and your love's connection, we want to photograph you being yourselves. We work with you in a way to get those real emotions and your personalities to come out.
Adventure and Travel Photographers
Experienced and Flexible destination photography for the adventurous couple
Eastlyn likes to describe herself as a strenuous hiker with constant messy hair. Joshua likes to describe himself as craving more adventure than if safe for him. So if you're all about that wild wind-blown hair and you're not afraid to get a little dirty from a long hike or wet from waterfall mist, then we know we'd be the perfect match for your love adventure.
To put your mind at ease on our experience level, below is a list of places that we've already been, driven, camped, hiked and photographed (and definitely wouldn't mind exploring again)…
